Sluice gates/valves for reclamation & irrigation, are used for water regulation and control on rivers, canals, hydraulic systems, penstocks and plants, or used as safety organs of the same.
Designed and manufactured according to the customer’s specific requirements, made of suitably treated carbon steel, or stainless steel, these sluice gates/valves are mainly composed of a frame consisting of two guide gargoyles and lower stop profile, movable diaphragm with seals on 3 or 4 sides, mechanical lifting system with screws or with hydraulic cylinders, and operating unit; the movement/adjustment of the sluice gate can be either by manual operation with handwheel, or by control panel on electrified actuators.
